The Great Depression And The Great Recession
This site will put these two "Great" points in American history against each other to see what they both were all about and there pros and cons. These were hard times who had great people there to help them out. Two very different but alike plans by Barack Obama and Franklin D Roosevelt are looked at.
Introduction:
Barack Obama and Franklin D Roosevelt were very successful with each of their plans. Each plan was created for there time period and situations. The general issue during both of the times is that the economy was falling due to debt and falling of businesses. Even though The Great Recession did not get as bad as The Great Depression it was a repeat of the same situations. With these two points in history it shows that history has repeated itself but I wold not say that America dosen't learn from there mistakes. As time progresses things change and systems are run differently. In any nation there will be times when the systems fail. This is what this site looks at. The different things that make systems fail and what can bring them back up.
